When is the best time to childproof my home?Ideally, you should childproof your home before your baby becomes mobile. Don’t forget that mobility includes rolling, scooting, crawling, or cruising–not just walking.

How long will it take to childproof my home?Most jobs can be completed in one day, depending on the size of your home, number of gates, magnetic locks and the amount of childproofing you wish to do.

How much will it cost to safety proof my home?Two main factors determine the cost of safety proofing a home: 1) the size of your home; 2) the amount of safety proofing you desire. Many families choose to safety proof their homes in “stages”. Usually gates, a handful of magnetic cabinet locks, and securing top-heavy furniture receive top priority. We will certainly try to work within your budget to help you create a safe environment for your baby to live, grow, explore, and learn.

Do you guarantee your work?At Home Safe Home Childproofing we are committed to customer service as well as child safety. Because we use high quality professional grade products and install them to the manufacturer’s specifications, we are able to guarantee our work for a full 12 months. If you purchased a product from us that we installed, and it isn’t working properly, we will repair or replace it at no charge provided that it has been used in the manner for which it was designed.

Should I try and baby proof myself?Most of our clients prefer to leave the installation to a professional to save time, avoid frustration, and to have the peace of mind that all work is done correctly.

Do your gates work for dogs?Yes, we have installed dozens of gates for dog owners who wish to restrict their pet from certain areas of their home. Our gates are easy to operate, removable and designed especially for homes with dogs and cats.

Do you use subcontractors to install the equipment?No, we do not use subcontractors. The installer is the company president Hal Norman, a trained certified professional safety consultant with over 30 years of hands on experience. So you can be assured that your safety proofing is in the hands of a qualified professional.
